Does CaRMS check to make sure the specialty/discipline is correct on my letter of reference?

If a letter is submitted early, CaRMS will notify applicants if the specialty in their letter of reference does not match the specialty stated on the request coversheet. If the letter is uploaded by a referee through CaRMS Online, we try our best to spot check them as a courtesy but it is not a guarantee.
