My school does not issue MSPRs. What should I do?

The Medical Student Performance Record (MSPR)/Dean’s letter is a requirement for all programs. However, programs also recognize that this document is not issued by all schools (outside of Canada). In cases where an International Medical Graduate's school does not issue MSPRs, or if obtaining this document is not feasible, the applicant can compose a letter outlining the situation and the reason(s) the document cannot be included with the application.

Applicants must upload this letter into their application in place of the MSPR.

Information about the applicant’s MSPR can also be mentioned in their personal letter.
