My school does not issue MSPRs. What should I do?

The Medical Student Performance Record (MSPR)/Dean’s letter is a requirement for all programs. However, programs also recognize that this document is not issued by all schools (outside of Canada). In cases where an International Medical Graduate's school does not issue MSPRs, or if obtaining this document is not feasible, the applicant can compose a letter outlining the situation and the reason(s) the document cannot be included with the application. Including the school's contact information and other information, which can be found on the World Directory of Medical Schools website, is also useful.

Applicants must upload this letter into their application in place of the MSPR.

Information about the applicant’s MSPR can also be mentioned in their personal letter.
