Programs are directly responsible for scheduling interviews with applicants outside of CaRMS Online. We recommend referring to the program descriptions as they usually contain details regarding dates and when they plan to contact applicants.
Once a program has assigned an interview offer status, this will be reflected on an applicant's CaRMS Online account. The applicant should then expect an email to confirm the details of the interview invitation directly from the program. Programs can also include a message with further information when updating the applicant's interview offer status.
If you do not receive any notification regarding an interview offer status by the beginning of the interview period, please contact the program.
Note: The interview period for the Medicine Subspecialty Match (MSM) begins days after file review opening, therefore applicants may not receive an interview offer status notification by the opening of the interview period.
