What third-party organizations has CaRMS partnered with to automate the verification of citizenship/legal status of applicants?

CaRMS has partnered with the following third-party organizations to automate the verification of citizenship/legal status required for entry into residency.

1) The Alberta International Medical Graduate Program (AIMG)

2) The British Columbia Clinical Assessment Program (BC-CAP)

3) The Medical Council of Canada (MCC)

If you have participated in either the AIMG program and/or the BC-CAP program, we will receive your name from these programs and your status will be verified. Therefore, you do not have to prove your citizenship/legal status by uploading a document or sharing your IVP.

If you have not participated in either the AIMG program and/or the BC-CAP program, there are two options to prove your citizenship/legal status.
