In the R-1 match, can quota be modified after the opening of Program Selection for applicants?

Approximate quota must be entered by PGME offices in CaRMS Online prior to the opening of Program Selection for applicants. If no quota is entered, applicants will not be able to select that program.

Quota can be modified later on with no issue. However, exact quota must be finalized by the PGME office’s deadline for rank order list, quota, and reversions approval period.

Note: Once you add quota for the R-1 match, you can decrease it, but you cannot remove it entirely.
