I am an IMG who trained in the US in a ACGME residency program. Am I eligible to apply to the CaRMS FM/ES match?

If you are an IMG and have trained in a ACME (US) residency program, you are eligible to participate in the FM/ES match, however, you must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada and hold the CCFP (Certification in The College of Family Physicians) designation.

If you are an ACGME trained prospective applicant, we recommend that you contact the CCFPC to obtain your CCFP designation. Participating FM/ES programs have additional requirements, so we encourage you to review individual program descriptions for detailed program-specific requirements.
