For the subspecialty matches, what is the difference between the “regular” and the “particular” stream in the province of Quebec?

In the subspecialty matches, Quebec programs have two application streams, "Regular" and "Particular".

"Regular" are positions available to applicants who are currently doing their residency at a program in Quebec.

If you are doing your residency in a province outside of Quebec, you will be limited to applying to the “Particular” stream.
