I have been waitlisted by a program, when will I know whether or not I will be selected for an interview?

Programs will typically use the waitlist function to advise applicants that a first round of interview offers has gone out and, depending the number of applicants that schedule an interview within this round, will determine the second round of interview offers.

Typically, programs will update this status prior to the interview period starting, depending on the match.
