What do I do if I find an error in my translated MSPR?

Although ITC Canada has quality assurance processes in place, we encourage all applicants to review their translated MSPR, as it would occur with any other direct relationship between a client and a translation service.

If you have requested the translation of your MSPR before the deadline of October 17, 2024 at 17:00 ET, you will receive your translated MSPR by November 22, 2024 at 12:00 (noon) ET and will have the opportunity to review it.

If you find an error in your translated MSPR, you must send us an e-mail to translationservice@carms.ca by the deadline of November 25, 2024 at 12:00 (noon) ET with:

  1. Your name
  2. Your CaRMS ID
  3. The errors you have noted using one of the methods below that is easiest for you:
  • Downloading your PDF MSPR from your CaRMS Online account and highlighting the errors directly within the PDF by writing notes in red or adding comments; OR
  • listing the page number where you found the error in the translated MSPR with the
    • The ORIGINAL text and;
    • the TRANSLATED text.

Do not send screenshots.

Items that will be corrected:

  • Wrong date, wrong header, wrong format, wrong name, grammar or spelling mistakes, missing text, gender errors made by the translation service provider. These errors will be corrected before the beginning of the file review period.

Requests for changes based on personal preferences (for example, a different way of translating the text, preferred terminology, or semantics) will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

We cannot guarantee that changes based on personal preferences or changes requested after the deadline of November 25, 2024 at 12:00 (noon) ET will be completed before the beginning of file review.
