CaRMS works closely with both the translation service providers (UBIQUS/ITC International), FMEQ (Fédération médicale étudiante du Québec) as well as Québec faculties of medicine to review it's updated terminology guide and the quality assurance process prior to every R-1 match cycle.
Although all parties have quality assurance processes in place, we encourage all applicants to review their translated MSPR, as it would occur with any other direct relationship between a client and a translation service.
If you find an error in your translated MSPR by the service CaRMS provides, please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the following and we will coordinate the rest.
- Explanation of the error
- Page number it was found in
CaRMS will facilitate the correction of the following items (wrong date, wrong header, wrong name, grammar or spelling mistakes) made by the CaRMS server provider. These errors will be corrected before the beginning of the file review period of your match.
Requests for changes based on personal preferences (for example, preferred terminology or semantics) will be reviewed on a case by case basis by our in house translator.
Due to the number of translation requests being processed by the CaRMS service provider, we cannot guarantee that changes based on personal preferences will be completed before the beginning of file review.
