If you need to update a program description that has already been approved by your PGME Office follow the below steps:
- Log into your CaRMS Online account and go under the Match menu and select Program Description.
- Locate your program and under the Action column and choose Request to Edit.
- A pop-up window will appear. Enter a description of what change you would like to make in the approved program description. Click Send Request to Edit.
- Your PGME office will be notified that you have requested a change to the approved program description and the status of the program description will change to Approved (Requested to edit).
- The PGME office will review the request.
- Once the request has been approved, the status of the program description will change to Updates Needed and you can proceed to edit the program description for re-approval.
