How do I submit a document for translation?

Eligible documents include reference documents and Medical School Performance Records (MSPRs).

Translation is only available from French-to-English or English-to-French. Translation requests cannot be cancelled once submitted

To submit a document for translation:

  1. Go to My Documents - Translation Requests
  2. Select the document you would like to have translated from the "Documents available for translation" list
    Note: you can only request a translation for a document that is available in your account to submit for translation.
  3. Review your selection and click SUBMIT FOR TRANSLATION
  4. Click OK to proceed to the payment page.

Translated documents will be uploaded to your account in CaRMS Online once completed automatically. 

You are able to check the status of your translation in the Translation Requests section as well as in your Document Tracking section of your CaRMS Online account. 

NOTE: you must have a bilingual application in order to request translation through CaRMS Online. Learn how to set your account to bilingual
