Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the CaRMS office is currently closed. As a result, mailed documents are only being processed intermittently.
Please be aware that there will be a delay in receiving and processing mailed documents. In order to meet any document submission deadline, we strongly recommend submitting documents electronically via one of the following methods:
- Upload PDF documents in the CaRMS Online Undergraduate Portal
- Send documents by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
NOTE: Ensure electronic documents are not password protected.
If the above options are not possible, we ask that any hardcopy documents be sent by Canada Post mail as we are unable to accept courier deliveries at this time:

We have been informed by some schools that they are unable to mail transcripts due to COVID-19 and only providing transcripts via a third-party tool (example a National Student Clearinghouse). CaRMS does not retrieve documents from third party providers due to:
- the variations in process by school or platform,
- expiration of links,
- confusion of version control; and
- emails being flagged as spam and never being delivered to CaRMS
Given the above, we are asking applicants to provide transcripts directly to CaRMS by email or mail.
