What is the program code and how to interpret it

The program code displayed in CaRMS Online consists of a single character, a two digit school code, a three digit discipline code, and a 3 digit location code. There is an additional two digit stream code for each program.

Example:
A85012870 - 11

There is a basic 9 character program code structure:

A=Match type (i.e., R-1)
85=school code (i.e., UBC)
012=discipline code (i.e., Anatomical Pathology)
870=location code (i.e., Vancouver)

And an additional code for the stream type:

- 11=stream code (i.e., CMG Stream)
